Starburst are a child dance group who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 4 of Britain's Got Talent. They were aged between 7 & 13 at the time of their audition and hailed from Barry Island located in The Vale of Glamorgan in Wales.
In their audition, they dressed as several fictional characters and began their routine by standing beside one another, before then performing around the stage and utilising it in it's entirety. Simon described their performance as having been 'old fashioned'.
In the Semi-Finals, they wore rainbow-coloured clothes, and performed various different dance styles which ranged from ballet and jazz whilst also incorporating flips and tricks to 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina And The Waves. Piers described their performance as like being on a 'Great big psychedelic bursting extravaganza of fun [and you were] very cheeky', with Amanda adding 'This is a lovely happy start to the show, your really cute [and] can my daughter Lexi join that troupe [as] she would love that'.
