Craig Wormersley

Craig Wormersley is a baton twirler who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 1 of Britain's Got Talent.

Before his audition, he revealed that he was a part of his grandmother's troupe, however he had stopped performing when he was younger as his parents were scared of what his school friends may say. He also stated that he had not told his parents that he was auditioning.

In his audition, Wormsley performed to 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen, after which Amanda remarked 'I wanted you to be good, and you were fantastic', with Simon adding 'What you did was absolutely incredible'.

In his Semi-Final performance, he performed to 'Let Me Entertain You' by Robbie Williams, performing using two batons as opposed to the one he used in his audition. Piers remarked 'You came on that stage and you owned it', with Amanda adding 'The whole of Great Britain are right behind you'. Wormersley finished in the Top 3 of the Public Vote, however lost the Judges' vote against Kombat Breakers.

After BGT[]

A year later in 2008, he became the manager of a group called Star-X who auditioned for Series 2 of Britain's Got Talent.

After his grandmother's death in 2011, Craig took over the running of the Lynbar Majorettes, the troupe run by his grandmother that he had been a part of since he was young.[1]
